Below you will find website projects that I created for a few courses at UMGC. Websites were created using programming languages HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
1. Website for local band, Atmosphere

This website was created while attending UMGC. I created with website in course CMST 386, Principles of Web Design and Technology II. I completed this project on April 4, 2023. This website includes a biography, list of albums, and recent news of the band Atmosphere. In the music tab, there is a list and image of each album with each track listed. In the news tab, there are details of the band’s recent tour news and other events.

2. Website for tattoo shop, Flor Tattoo Studio

This website was created for a tattoo shop, Flor Tattoo Studio. This website was a large project as there ten tabs with different information. Flor Tattoo Studio’s website includes a portfolio, a biographical page, contact and consultation forms, and an added blogging section. This website was created while my attending UMGC. This website was created as a project for course CMST 386, Principles of Web Design and Technology II. I completed this project on April 18, 2023.

3. Website for bakery, The Finer Cakes Club

This website was created for a local cake shop, The Finer Cakes Club. The purpose of this website was for clients to learn more about the cake shop, browse through a portfolio of cakes, and learn about the services offered. The website also shares multiple forms of contact such as social media and email. There is also a tab that shares a bit about how the business began. This website was created while attending UMGC. This website was a project created for course CMST 386, Principles of Web Design and Technology II. I created this website on May 7, 2023.

4. Cat Breeds Website

This website was one of my first projects created using JavaScript. The purpose of this website was to show how JavaScript can change how images react. The assignment asked for images to enlarge when the mouse hovered over them, while also displaying a description of the image. This website was created while attending UMGC. The course that I created this project for was CMST 388, Fundamentals of JavaScript. This project was created on May 24, 2023.

5. UMGC Tickets Website

This website was a project created for the UMGC Alumni Association. This project was created for course CMST 388 Fundamentals of JavaScript at UMGC. The purpose of this project was to create a ticketing form that also included a ten minute countdown. This would allow the user to know that the tickets need to be purchased quickly before they are released to another buyer. Once the user clicks submit, there will be pops-ups that request the user to enter their contact information. The learning outcome of this project was to use JavaScript to create countdown timers and pop-up forms. This project was created on July 2, 2023.

6. Event Registration Form

This website was created as a project while attending UMGC. The course that I completed this project for was CMST 388, Fundamentals of JavaScript. The purpose of this project was to create a registration form for an event. The form needed to properly capture information from the attendee such as contact information, meal preference, contact method preferred, and additional comments that the attendee would like to add. The learning outcome of this project required the correct use of functions, if-statements, and variables with JavaScript. This form was created on July 11, 2023.
