National Parks Poster

This project was created while attending course CMST 320, Illustration Graphics at The University of Maryland Global Campus. This purpose of this project was to create a poster of a National Park using Adobe Illustrator. The poster had to be an original creation using tools in Illustrator such as the Pen tool. The learning outcome was to learn how to layout and position layers in Illustrator while also using the Pen tool to properly create original graphics. This poster features Redwood National Park’s iconic redwood trees in the background and a van driving down the road to represent the tourism. This poster was created on May 9, 2023.

Valentines Day Postage Stamps

This project was created while attending course CMST 320, Illustration Graphics at The University of Maryland Global Campus. The purpose of this project was to create two postage stamps using Adobe Illustrator. The theme of these postage stamps was Valentine’s Day. The first stamp is inspired by the TV comedy series, The Office, where the teapot represents eternal love. The second stamp features two chocolate covered strawberries. Behind the strawberries, there is a small heart and shapes that represent the air. Ultimately giving a visual for the phrase, ‘Love is in the air’. These postage stamps were created on April 27, 2023.
These postage stamps were created with Adobe Illustrator with the Pen tool as the primary tool.

Book Cover

This book cover was created as a project for course CMST 325, Image Editing at The University of Maryland Global Campus. The purpose of this project was to create a book cover that included an edited image and a title. This book cover was inspired by the TV comedy show, The Office. The learning outcome with this project was to learn how to edit an image, use of appropriate typography, and use of appropriate color theory. This book cover was created on February 25, 2023.

Coloring book page

This coloring book page was created as part of a project for course CMST 320, Illustration Graphics at The University of Maryland Global Campus. The purpose of this project was to create an original coloring book page with graphics and typography that can be colored in. The project required that we create one page as it would look with color and another without color. This color book page was inspire by a scene from the TV comedy series ‘The Office’. This project was created on May 9, 2023.
